The Acura RDX 2013, the second generation of Acura five-passenger crossover SUV, is the ante with a new approach to achieve maximum performance and fuel economy through engine, new gearbox and four wheel drive.

2013 Acura RDX 

The 2013 RDX rides on suspension 4-wheel independent MacPherson strut front and multilink rear suspension. A longer wheelbase, wider track and low center of gravity on the basis of better management of the new Acura RDX and ride quality. New chassis technology for 2013 includes the exclusive range of Acura reactive shock and a new motion adaptive electric power steering system, which replaces the previous hydraulic steering. The 2013 RDX is available in front-wheel drive and four wheel drive variants.

Standard features for the 2013 Acura RDX includes bold new 5-spoke 18-inch wheels and upgraded brakes 4-wheel disk, including antilock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. Not only the brakes to provide better performance, but also include improvements to reduce drag brake for reducing the rolling resistance and better fuel economy.

Replacing the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is used with the previous RDX, RDX 2013 is now standard equipment of a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 273 horsepower - 33 more than the outgoing model. For even higher performance and better fuel economy, the Acura RDX uses a brand new 6-speed automatic with lockup torque converter again. The RDX also receives a new weight, lighter four-wheel drive system that offers exceptional performance and security more efficiently for greater fuel economy.
